Variety, the Children’s Charity of Manitoba steps in where government, healthcare, school divisions, and other funding sources end to provide proven solutions to enrich the lives of children in Manitoba living with special needs and experiencing economic disadvantage. The equipment and support needs of children living with a disability are extensive and many things remain uncovered or partially covered. Last year, Variety spent $622,823 on 316 individual grant requests through Variety’s Special Needs Program and reached children in over 40 communities in Manitoba.
